Stefanie is a photographer, filmmaker, and animator based in Monterey County. She’s always been drawn to nature, especially wildlife, and spends much of her time photographing animals, mostly birds. She loves the way they move, and those quick, blink-and-you-miss-them moments that hint at bigger stories in the natural world.

In animation, she’s been learning Dragonframe and Adobe software, with a growing interest in stop motion and paper cut-out work. She enjoys the hands-on, frame-by-frame process and the way simple materials can come alive in small, imperfect, but expressive ways. Animation is still something she’s exploring, but it’s becoming an exciting path for telling nature-inspired stories.

Across her work, Stefanie focuses on noticing the quieter details, finding beauty in the small, often overlooked moments outdoors, and capturing them with patience, curiosity, and care.
